Can I bring my own wine?  Do you have a corkage fee?

Please feel free to bring your special bottle, two bottles maximum - our corkage fee is $35.00 per bottle. 

 

Can I bring a cake? 

While our dessert offerings are fantastic, you may of course bring a cake.  We charge a cutting fee of $4.00 per person in your party. 

 

Can you split checks?

Yes, we can split checks, but it is most helpful to know this at the beginning of your time with us.   A 20% gratuity will be added to all split checks. 

 

Do I need a reservation?

We absolutely recommend reservations and gladly accept them for our dining room and for the 4 season terrace. 

 

What about walk ins?

We have so much space for dropping in!  Well over 70 seats are available for walk in’s in our Tavern and weather depending on the patio. 

 

Do you have outside dining?

We have a lovely outdoor patio that is available, weather depending, and we have our 4 season Terrace that opens to allow al fresco dining while still “indoors”.

 

Do you have a private dining room?

We do have a wonderful private room that can accommodate up to 20 guests, The Hieber Room.  We have a Prix Fixe Menu for that room, and details can be found HERE

 

Can you accommodate large groups?

Absolutely!  With our spacious layout and multiple rooms, we are well equipped to seat large parties.  Depending on the size of the party, we may need to discuss the rental of a total room.   No matter what the size or occasion, please give us a call or drop us an email at events@thetailorandthecook.com and we can discuss!  Parties of 8 and above are subject to 20% gratuity. 

 

What is your parking situation? 

Lots of street parking surrounds 311 Main Street here in Bagg’s Square.   Municipal lots literally surround the building with a very large and well lit lot under the bridge to the west! 

 

Are you handicapped accessible?

For sure, the accessible ramp entrance is to the east/right as you look at the main entrance to the restaurant.  Our floor plan allows for comfortable egress in all areas.

 

Do you accept personal checks? 

We do not accept personal checks.  Of course, all major CC are accepted.
