Don't take our word for it, hear from our guests on their expereince

"I am very grateful for this establishment. I hope many more restaurants open with their philosophy for food, service, and atmosphere. They set the example of what can be in our region and have sustained successfully.

Some highlights: Fresh, locally grown, ever-evolving menu, autonomy for creativity with the chef, lovely servers and bartenders."

"AMAZING SERVICE AND AMAZING FOOD!! This gem is a must experience and Must go.

"We passed through Utica at dinner time on our way from Rochester to Cape Cod and randomly chose The Tailor and the Cook for dinner. Wowza!! The lovely ambiance and superb service were surpassed only by the fabulous food. My husband and I dined tapas style so we were able to sample five different dishes and each was excellent."

"Fantastic place. The wait staff were prompt, friendly and courteous. My fiancee and I were celebrating our engagement tonight and they pulled out all the stops for us! Complimentary white wine, a candle with our dessert and genuine congratulations from everyone serving us helped make this already special day even more so! Not to mention the food. We've been here before and the menu changes every so often, keeping things fresh. The duck is to DIE FOR! Can't go wrong with a night out at this fantastic restaurant. Four thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍"

Absolutely first rate farm to table dining experience! Everything fresh to your table, locally sourced, creatively presented and fantastically prepared. A must do for a lovely dining experience. Craft cocktails and the Local artisan cheeseboard will be long remembered. Wait staff was of highest quality — attentive, knowledgeable, felt like the very best restaurant in a much bigger city. Make a reservation and beg for a table if they are full and you are a foodie!
